Description of Practice:
At Voss, Cook & Thel LLP, Ms. Elmassian practices business, real estate and environmental litigation in both state and federal courts. She holds a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law (2006), and a Master of Arts in International Relations, with a concentration in Global Markets and Asia, from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University (2006). She graduated, cum laude, from the University of Southern California (2002) with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Relations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Elmassian worked at the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney, Department of Water and Power, where she focused on municipal litigation, and alternative energy power projects. She also served as an Economic Advisor for the Department of State in Guangzhou, China; a Commercial Service Analyst for the Department of Commerce in Shanghai, China; and a Trade and Investment Specialist in Taipei, Taiwan.
Ms. Elmassian is licensed to practice in California and New York. She is a member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and the Robert A. Banyard Inn of Court. Ms. Elmassian speaks fluent Armenian and conversational Mandarin Chinese.
