Description of Practice:
Lori specializes in the area of estate planning, trust and probate law, with a special emphasis on advanced planning techniques and related tax matters.  Lori also has extensive experience in trust and estate administration, resolution of trust and estate disputes, and gift and estate tax return preparation and audit.  Lori also represents several of the larger trust companies and bank trust departments in Orange County and Los Angeles County in matters of trust and estate administration and estate and gift tax related issues.  

Lori has served “of counsel” to Voss, Cook and Thel for over fourteen years.  She is a member of numerous professional organizations, and is the former President of the Tax Section of the Orange County Bar.  She has actively served as a member of the Endowment Council for the Orange County Performing Arts Center, as well as the endowment committees of the American Cancer Society and Orange Coast College.

Lori received a B.S. in biology/chemistry from the University of California at Irvine, and a J.D. degree, with special emphasis in taxation, from Pepperdine University School of Law.  Lori also received a Masters of Law in taxation from the Phillip Heckerling program at the University of Miami School of Law.
